My solo exhibition Streaming Surface, curated by an amazing curator Rachel Vera Steinburg, opens at Smack Mellon on March 5.

I am at Socrates Sculpture Park making a series new sculptures this summer. They will be on view as a part of The 2021 Socrates Annual: Sanctuary from October 2, 2021 through March 20, 2022.

Currently living in Shafer, Minnesota to create “Tackle Box” at Franconia Sculpture Park.

It’s been an honor to do a residency at The Kitchen and work with an incredible curator Alison Burstein and collaborate with Yo! Vinyl Richie.

ISCP hosted both of their Open Studio events  (Summer & Fall) virtually this year. It has been a challenging year for all of us and we doing the best we can. The first COVID-19 vaccines are expected to reach Americans within weeks. I am looking forward to meeting many ISCP residents, who haven’t been able to enter the United States, and their work in person in the near future.

Here is the video which will walk through you my work between 2016 and 2020. I presented this video at t one of the Open Studio events.

I am in a group exhibition The Earth Is Blue Like an Orange at The International Studio & Curatorial Program.

The exhibition includes the works by the eight artists in residence in ISCP’s Ground Floor Program; Wieteke Heldens, Carlos Franco, Alison Nguyen, Bundith Phunsombatlert, Svetlana Bailey, Civan Özkanoğlu, Habby Osk, and myself.

I will be one of 2022 Franconia Sculpture Park Fellows! Looking forward to traveling there in the post-pandemic world.

Starting my residency at the International Studios & Curatorial Program (ISCP). I have my studio there from January 2020 through December 2021.

I’ve been selected as one of SOHO20’s +/- Project Space’s three open call artists. My new project Untitled (Diorama) will be on view from November 16 – December 15, 2018.

I am excited to announce that NYC’s favorite experimental electronic musician and performer Chuck Bettis, who is a dear friend of mine, has invited me to collaborate with him during his residency at The Stone. We Collaborated in 2012 when Chuck composed the soundtrack for my mid length movie PAN and next Tuesday, December 15th at 10pm, Silver Process (Chuck Bettis (electronics) Brian Chase (drums) Kevin Norton (vibes, drums) will perform a live music composition to my new film. Please come join us! The Stone is located on the corner of Avenue C and 2nd Street in Manhattan.

PAN for The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival.
PAN is now an official selection for AoBFF, 2014. It will takes places between May 7-11. I am excited to have a screening at such a historical movie theatre, Brooklyn Heights Cinema.

Documenting Virginia Overton at The Storm King Art Center
Between the winter of 2013 and the spring of 2014, I made several trips to The Storm King Art Center to film and photograph Virginia Overton‘s creation of her 500’ long brass tube sculpture at. It’s a part of their OUTLOOKS project curated by Nora Lawrence. Opening tomorrow Saturday May 3.

YIFFF took place from 2/27 to 3/3. I had a pleasure of meeting my hero, the director Nobuhiko Obayashi. His new film No no Nana Nanoka was premiered at the festival. It was mind blowing.

Argo Electronics 391 Canal Street
My friend David Lasevski runs Nivie Electronics, a Panasonic certified mechanic service in Brooklyn. I take my video cameras to him for tune ups. And that’s how I met David. He has many great stories to tell and also is a junk collector. He owns the famous junk store Argo Electronics on Canal St and Avenue of America in NYC where I used to buy materials for my work during NY Studio Program. David bought an abandoned supermarket in Sidney, NY a few years ago to store all his junks. One day I was telling him about my idea for shooting a horror movie and he offered me to use his supermarket – that’s how everything started. Here’s a TV commercial of Argo Electronics that I shot. Written and directed by David. “You never know what idea you may have.”
